Vendor-Manager Relationships
Two open discussion forums were held at the 2005 LAMA (Laboratory Animal Management Association)/ATA (Allied Trades Association) Annual Meeting to solicit opinions and views on the often synergic, but occasionally dysfunctional relationship between the vendors that supply the industry with products and services and the managers that run the animal facilities.

Approximately, fifty individuals attended one or both of the two forums with both professions being represented in roughly equal portions. Vendor-manager relationship discussion topics were both pre-selected by the forum leaders and additional topics were solicited from the participants.
