emka Announces New Site on Pulmonary Function

pulmonary.emka.fr is a new website offering information about the hardware and software available for the study of pulmonary function.

The five plethysmography base systems, developed by emka TECHNOLOGIES or by partner Scireq Inc, can be used to study one or more freely moving, restrained or sedated animals. 

The hardware section includes several options allowing you to extend the base systems: aerosol generation and delivery, vital signs monitoring, gas mixture management and delivery, cigarette smoke exposure etc. 

Some of the lesser known possibilities include implants to obtain in vivo cardiorespiratory data or our noninvasive system for measuring lung volume in large animals (option with emkaPACK telemetry system). 

The acquisition and analysis software contains dedicated modules for pulmonary research. The site also has screenshots of high-quality physiological and video data.
